Outlook as a Google Apps Alternative

Here's an awesome post on this topic:

Since Google Apps went paid I've started using Outlook.com for a couple of my custom email addresses.

Pretty sweet actually!

Never really use the web based interface, just on my phone.

Works as an exchange account in Android so setup is a breeze!

What's the best free email client?

Hi All

Am looking to use a free email client as I don't want to pay for outlook for the small amount of email I'll be sending and receiving from this particular address.

Can anyone help me out?

Don't want anything too fancy, just the basic features. What would you all recommend?

Email with my domain?

Quick question...

Can I get an email address against my domain name no matter what the TLD?

Would be interesting to have a .me address as my email.

Anybody know? Is it any more complex/expensive to use different TLDs for my website?

Essentially you just select the "Add an email account" option from underneath your folder list in Hotmail and then enter the login details and server information of wherever your email address is hosted. This will let you put all your email in one window. If you ...

Email Forwarding Vs Mailbox

Ever wondered what the difference is between Email forwarding and creating your own Mailbox?

Email forwarding simply creates an address that then forwards mail instantly to a destination.

A mailbox creates an address and assigns storage space to that address so that mail can be received at that address.

If you want to send mail from an address, then an Email Forwarder will not suffice, you need a mailbox!

If you just want a certain ...
