Google has recently been making some big changes to its search results. Universal search is designed to show listings from Google own vertical search engines directly in the search results.

Google is taking over some of the top 10 search results for them self’s by displaying Google News and local listings. This is looks like an attempt to redirect Google search visitors back to Goggles other services. With Google receiving over 250 million searches a day you can see the logic.
