We're seeing an increasing number of UK based .com sites having the home page of their site dropped from "UK pages only" Google results. This is causing all rankings that are associated with the home page to temporarily be lost.

One theory is that Google are trying to improve UK search results by removing any global based .com sites from the UK index, however this is causing some UK based .com companies to be affected.
