Google recently announced updates to their quality scoring system. A new quality label has been attached to keywords, rating them according to Great, Ok, or Poor quality.

In addition, Google promises to have improved their quality score algorithm to reward high quality pages with a lower cost per click. They also claim they've improved the way they set minimum bids where they have limited data to verify quality.
