Google AdSense is now placing the little Google Checkout shopping cart icons next to AdSense ads for merchants who are using Google Checkout. Lately they've been promoting Google Checkout with a variety of attention-getting icons and buttons.

We suspect that these icons and buttons are increasing click through rates for AdSense publishers. Don't be surprised if Google continues to test different images and buttons as they continue to seek the best formulas for promoting their Checkout service.
