Needless to say once set-up Google Mail can be accessed both at mail.yourdomain.com (where yourdomain.com is your choosen domain) and via Pop3/Imap etc etc using the regular Google Mail features to do so.
Its easy to set-up and done as follows (We make it look much harder than it is!): 1) Choose which domain you want to use for email. If it's one we don't already manage, maybe move it to us first as our DNS control is simply the best and will be more helpful further down this list! 2) Sign up for Google Apps here, www.google.com/a/cpanel/domain/new choosing "I want to use an existing domain" and the Administrator radio button. 3) Complete Account sign up on next page after entering your domain in step 2 above. Make sure you tick the "I understand that I cannot alter DNS...." checkbox when doing so. 4) Choose your first user name. You can have up to 50 accounts for free under Google Apps, so this is simply the first account/email address that you will use to login with. 5) Verify you have control of the domain you specified by selecting "Change [Yourdomain.com] CNAME record" and click continue. 6) You will now be given a CName record to configure to prove you own the domain. This will be a random odd locking record. 7) Login to your Domainmonster.com Control Panel at domainmonster.com/login/. Select the domain from the menu on the right and click manage. Then select "Manage DNS" from the menu options to configure DNS and setup your CName record. 8) Amend the existing default CName record or add a new one to reflect the requested verification Cname that Google provided, save your settings and then return to the Google Apps setup to click that you have completed this process. 9) Whilst logged into your Domainmonster.com control panel, stay in "Manage DNS" for the domain and add the required MX records for your domain to work with Google Mail. There are 5 of these to give lots of resilience for your mail and you can find them listed here, http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/...y?answer=33915. They are all root records so you don't need a host name, just put the record in the FQDN section and set the listed priority. 10) You can also setup further CName records while you are in here for mail, sites, docs & calendar, all pointing to ghs.google.com. These will mean that your email can be accessed at mail.yourdomain.com and same for docs, calendar and sites, so docs.yourdomain.com as another example. 11) Note that if configuring step 10 you also need to tell Google Apps you've done this. That can be done at the following URL replacing "Yourdomain.com" with the name you specified at Step 1. google.com/a/cpanel/YOURDOMAIN.COM/CustomUrl 12) Finally, to access your Google apps dashboard to configure settings further at any time, just go to google.com/a/cpanel/YOURDOMAIN.COM/ substituting "yourdomain.com" with the domain specified at Step 1. You can see a full list at the Domainmonster email services at the following location: http://www.domainmonster.com/email/
