We've been receiving an increase in the number of customers asking how can they transfer in their .uk domains to Domainmonster.

.uk transfer is the easiest and quickest of all domain transfers, each registrar is assigned what’s called and IPS-TAG by the UK naming authority Nominet UK, the TAG system allows members to pass the admin responsibility between different members by changing the TAG that’s associated with the domain.

For customers wishing to transfer domains in you need to request your current registrar to release the IPS-TAG to our TAG which is 'MESH'.

From your control panel you will need to inform us of any domains you wish to move in, this is done from the 'Transfer to Domainmonster' section where you just need to enter the full domain.

For customers wishing to transfer away you can release your IPS-TAG via the customer control panel within the members area. The release is instant, once released your new registrar will be contacted by Nominet to inform them of the change.
