UK Domains are suspended once 30 days have passed since the domain expired. The suspension period lasts for 60 days and during this period you can not make any changes to the domain configuration.

If the domain is not renewed within the suspension period it enters a pending deletion period and will be deleted from the registry. Once deleted the domain will be available for registration.

.com/.net/.org domains have a similar period called the “Redemption” period.
