Just had a thought is there an age limit on being able to register domain names. I know you will need to be able to pay for it but there are a lot of teenagers on the web these days.

Not that i'm aware of, any one can register a domain.

Anyone can be the registered owner of a domain name, no matter what their age, as long as the individual has permission of the card holder, and this can be verified.

All TLDs and ccTLDs are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
