Default Singapore to Introduce Numeric Domain Names

The Singapore ccTLD, .sg, is soon to introduce wholly numeric domain names to the registry. The domains will be released in two phases. Numbers have been permitted in .sg domain names before, but this is the first time that domains containing numbers as the only characters have been introduced. Singapore follows the lead of China and South Korea, who have also recently made the same change.
