Vint Cerf Stepping Down
ICANN chair Vint Cerf, sometimes thought of as the "father of the Internet", is stepping down from the position at the age of 64 after eight years in the position. The most likely candidate to take over the role is ex-internetNZ chair, Dengate Thrush, who is a lawyer with valuable expertise in Internet and intellectual property law.
