The registry for .uk, Nominet, has been criticised for proposed plans to change the way that domain name disputes are handled. In an effort to speed up the process and reduce fees, Nominet has suggested introducing an automatic hand-over of domains where an undisputed claim is made. But experts are concerned that legal fees will still prove prohibitive, and that the new system will be open to abuse by reverse domain hijackers.
