EURid Blocks One Registrant's 10,000 .eu Domains
The .eu registry EURid has blocked 10,000 .eu domain names all belonging to the same owner, after her relationship with the EU was questioned. .eu registrants are expected either to be citizens of the EU, or be training in the region. Ms Qingyin has demanded the return of her domains, but if the court rules that her registrations were illegitimate, they will be deleted from the registry and released to be registered by others.
