Exclamation Multiple email accounts

I have a domain with you, but my POP email with another provider. I would like to set up an email account with you as a backup email so that if there is any problem delivering to that account, it will deliver it to my email with you. How do I set this up?

phatCat, if you PM me the domain in question, I can set this up for you. Who is your DNS hosted with?

The way you set this up is to create two MX records on your domain. You would make your MX record for us have a higher Priority value. This way, all mail will attempt to send to your first provider, and if it fails, it will deliver to us.

Sorry, i understand about the MX priority as i'm fairly familiar with DNS. I guess what I meant was that i need to know what DNS MX record to set up for your email service - i deleted the original stuff you had set up by default but i remember it was more than just one record. My DNS is hosted with you.

Ah I see.

The MX record for us will need to be:
inbound.<domainname.tld>.emailmx.com.

Obviously, replace <domainname.tld> with your domain such as mydomain.com, so the MX would be inbound.mydomain.com.emailmx.com.
